Deposit When an applicant gets the letter of confirmation, informing him/her that s/he has been assigned a VOAS apartment, the letter also contains an invoice for the deposit that must be paid by the due date specified on the invoice. The purpose of this procedure is to confirm that the applicant accepts the apartment for his/her use. If the applicant does not pay the deposit, it is regarded as a sign of refusing to accept the apartment and the applicant is dropped out of the waiting list. The deposit is refunded to the resident within two months after the end of his/her lease period if the resident does not owe any rentals to VOAS and the apartment is left in a good condition to the next resident. The sum of the deposit varies depending on the type of apartment. The deposit is 200 € for a cell apartment and 350-450 € for a family apartment, depending on the size of the apartment. If the apartment is canceled before the contract has started, we will charge 100 eur for administrational costs.   Furniture Some of the box-apartments are rented with furniture, bed with mattress, chair, desk, desklamp, lamp, litterbin, bookshelf and a wardrobe. The charge for the furniture 10-12 eur/month.
